Parent enrollment route online
For parents who want to access additional support directly, Tutor Boost offers structured online tutoring that can be booked outside of school hours.
This provides flexible, consistent learning support that fits around busy family life while still following the same Tutor Boost approach used in schools.

1 x 50-minute session per week
Delivered online in small groups
Sessions available during the school day, after school and at weekends
Focused support in maths, phonics, reading comprehension, writing and 11+ prep exams.

Children are grouped carefully by year and ability to ensure sessions are targeted, supportive and appropriately challenging.
We keep parents closely involved so they always understand their child’s progress:
Clear updates on learning focus and development
Regular progress feedback shared with parents
We'll check in on your child's progress at the start and end of each term, and keep you updated on how they're developing.
Parent consultations where needed
Whether a child joins through school referral or parent enrolment, they are part of the same Tutor Boost approach.
Both routes include:

We'll keep you updated on your child's progress throughout the term.

The only difference is where and when the support is delivered. The quality, structure and approach remain the same.

Weekly online lessons are £25.00. This is paid via monthly direct debit.
What we do
School referral route
Where schools partner with Tutor Boost, teachers may refer pupils for in-school tutoring as part of structured intervention programmes. Parents are kept fully informed throughout.
This provision is designed to support children during the school day, without adding pressure to families or after-school schedules.
This service is available exclusively through schools that partner with Tutor Boost. Please speak to your school to see if they are part of our partnership programme.

3 x 20-minute sessions per week
Delivered during the school day on school premises
Small-group teaching (typically 4–5 pupils)
Focused support in maths, phonics, reading comprehension, writing and 11+ prep exams.
Fully aligned with the school’s curriculum and current learning priorities

Teachers identify pupils who would benefit from targeted support, including:
Children who are at expected level or above but would benefit from further challenge
Children with specific learning gaps
Children who would benefit from working in a smaller group to boost their confidence

We work closely with schools to ensure clarity and consistency:
Teachers and tutors share key learning priorities
Parents are informed and kept involved throughout
Your child will complete a simple assessment at the beginning and end of each term. This helps us tailor their learning and gives you a clear picture of the progress they're making.

There is no cost to your school for Tutor Boost interventions to be delivered on your premises. We provide the service free of charge to schools, making it easy to offer additional support to your pupils. Parents simply pay for their child's participation, allowing the school to benefit from the intervention without any financial commitment.
